Nickel sulfate hexahydrate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NiSO4 · 6H2O. It is mainly used in the electroplating industry as a catalyst for nickel plating, hydrogen absorption in hardened oils, nickel production catalysts, paint drying agents, and as a mordant for fabric reduction printing and dyeing. It is also used as a metal coloring agent for batteries, ceramics, and in the manufacture of other nickel salts.

Application
