Soda ash, chemically known as Sodium Carbonate (Sodium Carbonate), is a white powder or fine granular crystal, odorless, highly soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is alkaline. Soda ash is one of the important basic chemical raw materials and has extensive and indispensable applications in multiple industries.

Soda ash appears as white powder or fine granular crystals, with a density of approximately 2.532g/cm³ and a melting point of 851℃. It is highly soluble in water, with the highest solubility at 35.4℃. Every 100g of water can dissolve 49.7g of sodium carbonate. Its aqueous solution is alkaline, with a pH value of approximately 11.6. Exposed to the air, it is prone to absorbing moisture and carbon dioxide, gradually forming sodium bicarbonate and clumping.
